DC Soccer Club strives to get all goalkeepers in the club to build a solid foundation of using their hands and feet while making good choices in games. Training is structured to combine handling and footwork. Adding to basic handling and movement, our goalkeeping staff incorporates the concept of "Eyes, Feet, Hands:" Eyes help our players see the ball and recognize situations; Feet help the player move and adjust to stay involved and in play as a player on the field; and hands help handle the ball and distribute following making a save.
Who: Boys and Girls ages 4th - 8th Grade
Day: Fridays
Dates: March 31st - May 19th (No session April 7th)
Time: 5-6pm
Location: Jelleff Rec Center *Subject to change based on field permit availability*
Cost: $180 + Processing fees
General Financial Aid for the 2022-2023 season is still open. This application is for most of our programs that run in Fall 2022, Winter 2023, Spring 2023, and Summer 2023. However, you are only required to apply once per year. If you have already applied for the Fall Programs, you should have received an email from us, and if approved, a discount code has been provided. Please continue to use that given discount code for this program.
For each season (e.g. 2022-23), you can apply to either Travel or General FA (or both), but if applying to both, applications must be submitted separately. FA cannot be applied retroactively.
